The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality images to aid in the diagnosis of disease processes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT scanners and auxiliary devices to produce high-quality images
- Ensure radiation exposure is minimized while maintaining image quality
- Coordinate patient examinations and maintain a smooth workflow
- Provide patient education and assessment, as well as venous access for contrast material administration
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
- Experience performing basic CT procedures
- Computed Tomography (CT) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) certification from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA)
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a large facility
- CT certifications within 180 days
