Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Neuro MedSurg environment. This role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and ever-changing healthcare setting.

• Deliver exceptional patient care through the application of the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based practice and critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and promote a culture of safety and quality.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and research, applying knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia or eligibility for multi-state compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
