Job Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with high-performing project teams on internal control advisory and SOX initiatives.
2. Assist clients in evaluating risks associated with internal control over financial reporting.
3. Build trust-based relationships with clients and auditors, leveraging your expertise in SOX and audit standards.
4. Develop process narratives, create flowcharts, identify key controls, and guide clients in testing the design and operational effectiveness of those controls.
5. Communicate complex information clearly and concisely to clients and team members, both in writing and verbally.
6. Contribute to delivering impactful solutions that enhance client processes and controls.
7. Engage in continuous improvement of technical and project management skills through feedback, evaluations, mentorship, and training opportunities, including regular CPE and SME sessions.
8. Participate in a variety of engagement opportunities, including control rationalization, process evaluations, and SOX outsourcing services.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal controls within a public accounting or professional services environment, focusing on risk and compliance consulting related to SOX
  • Strong people, project, and client management skills developed in diverse professional settings
  • CPA or CIA certification preferred
