We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Synchrony Health Services. As a PTA, you will work under the direction of a Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities- Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities.
- Observe patient responses to therapy, document their progress, and report findings and any concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Provide instructions to patients and their families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to support continued progress at home.
- Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Current, valid state PTA licensure or certification.
- Current valid CPR certification, preferred.
- Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
- 0-1 years of experience.
