About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Financial Aid Advisor to join our team at Florida Institute Of Recording Sound & Technology. As a Financial Aid Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional support to our students, ensuring they receive the financial aid they need to succeed in their academic pursuits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized financial aid guidance to students, including assistance with completing the FAFSA and other financial aid applications
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial aid documents
  • Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and institutional regulations governing financial aid, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and policies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless student support and a positive overall experience
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in financial aid or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
