Job Summary:

At Vail Resorts, we're committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Snowmaker, you'll play a critical role in creating the perfect winter wonderland for our visitors.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate snowmaking equipment, including pumps, compressors, and guns, to produce high-quality snow.
  • Assist the snowmaking lead with daily operations, ensuring efficient and effective snow production.
  • Maintain snowmaking equipment and buildings, adhering to safety protocols and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and guests, providing excellent customer service.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing weather conditions and priorities.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Previous experience operating/maintaining heavy machinery; snowmaking experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.
  • Ability to work outdoors in alpine environments, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
