The Borough of River Edge is seeking an experienced Arboriculture Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Department of Public Works, you will play a critical role in maintaining the health and beauty of our borough's trees.

Salary

$63,597 per year, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious individual to perform tree maintenance work, including pruning, watering, bracing, repairing, and removing all borough trees. You will climb trees using climbing hooks, belts, and other manual or mechanical equipment, and operate a tree truck with an aerial lift.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Two (2) years of experience in the care and maintenance of trees and shrubs;">
• A valid Class B, NJ Driver's License with air brake endorsement;">
• Certifications in ACRT, first aid, and CPR;">
• Excellent physical fitness and ability to work at heights.">
