Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Exercise Physiologists, Physicians, and Allied Health Technicians to deliver comprehensive care and education to patients.
- Develop and implement patient education programs to promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or equivalent.
- Dysrhythmia recognition, pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease, and basic knowledge of exercise physiology and clinical exercise physiology preferred.
- Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or an active compact license.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in ICU, CCU, or other critical care nursing; a minimum of 1-year experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation is preferred.
