Job Description

We are actively looking for Junior to Mid-level Coastal Engineers to work on large complex projects in our Seattle office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil, water resources, ocean, or coastal engineering and excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include designing construction projects, preparing engineering designs, and supporting analysis of project costs.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting environmental impact studies, researching and complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements, and implementing scientific and regulatory tasks for projects.

In addition to these duties, you will work closely with our team to develop construction specifications, plans, and schedules to produce high-quality engineering documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Water Resources, Ocean, or Coastal Engineering; required
  • 3 to 5 years of experience; required
  • Professional Engineer (AICP, PP, PG, etc.) licensure in Washington or the ability to obtain via reciprocity within 6 months of hire; required
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; required
  • Microstation, Civil3D, or SWMM proficiency; preferred
  • Coastal modeling software; preferred
Salary and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $104,400 to $127,600 based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting required qualifications in the job description.

Working conditions: Majority of work is office-based. Some site visits may be required which may necessitate navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.
