Starting Hourly Rate:

This role focuses on health promotion and disease prevention, assisting patients and their families to navigate their care efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities include delegating, supervising, and delivering high-quality, safe, and developmentally appropriate nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing care through a Family-Centered approach.

Evaluate individual patient needs and plan, implement, educate, and assess care utilizing Evidence-Based Practices.


Ensure clinic operations adhere to regulatory standards and policies, including infection control, OSHA, CLIA, Joint Commission, HIPAA, and scope of practice.


Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and team members to facilitate smooth clinic operations, addressing patient and family concerns to achieve positive outcomes.

Document care in accordance with organizational standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Education: Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program is required; a BSN is highly preferred. If an Associate Degree is obtained after January 1, 2012, the candidate must complete a BSN within five years of their start date.
  • Licensure: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
  • Three years of pediatric clinical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Patient Age Groups Served:

This position provides safe and competent care for the following patient demographics: neonates, pediatric patients, adolescents, and select adult patients.

Minimum Physical Requirements:


Must possess the ability to see, hear, stand, walk, speak, read, and perform manual tasks with or without accommodation, and care for oneself with minimal difficulty.

Must be capable of independently lifting up to 25 lbs.


Must be able to move or reposition patients of any weight or size with the assistance of others and/or equipment.
