Job Overview

Magnolia Ridge Health and Rehab is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels
  • Provide care to patients with diverse medical conditions, including those requiring critical care and trauma medicine
  • Utilize airway management skills to maintain a safe airway for patients in emergency situations
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Teach patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and preventative measures
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Utilize Epic electronic health record system to track patient information
  • Participate in the management of workers' compensation claims, ensuring patients receive appropriate care and compensation
  • Work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple patients
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use of neonatal ventilators
  • Maintain a commitment to quality patient care and continuous learning
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
  • Strong knowledge of medical procedures and treatments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certification in critical care, trauma medicine, or neonatal care is preferred
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record system is an asset
  • Familiarity with workers' compensation law and procedures is advantageous
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development
