Job Title: Computed Tomography Technician

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technician to join their team for a 13-week assignment in Lakeport, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography Technician to work in our radiology department. As a Computed Tomography Technician, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly.
  • Monitor patients during the scan and ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technician.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Current certification as a Computed Tomography Technician.
