Position Overview:

The Product, Design, & Marketing Budget Team is in search of a skilled Technical Product Manager to lead the creation of an internal tool aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate project expectations and progress to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Assume responsibility for product delivery, ensuring team collaboration and success.
  • Build strong relationships and exert influence within a complex organizational structure.

  • Possess a solid understanding of iterative software development processes, Agile practices, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor project backlog, burndown charts, and task specifications.
  • Familiarity with PHP programming and the LAMP technology stack is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Understanding of business intelligence and supply chain principles is beneficial.

Specific Duties:

  • Identify user requirements and formulate high-level feature specifications.
  • Oversee the complete implementation process, including quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
  • Prioritize both user-facing and backend issues, collaborating closely with development teams.
  • Document user workflows and backend processes thoroughly.
  • Conduct data analysis and audits to verify data integrity.
  • Manage the system for tracking bugs and feature requests.
  • Perform root cause analysis and propose effective solutions.
  • Coordinate meetings, maintain detailed records, and ensure follow-up on action items.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, product management, or project management.
  • Proven experience in drafting high-level feature specifications.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for technical issues, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SQL.
  • Understanding of Purchase to Pay processes and financial data management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to comprehend complex organizational requirements and the implications of new features.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to changing business needs.
