Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions using the dealership's computer system.
  • Receive payments in cash, checks, and credit cards, accurately recording amounts on the repair order or counter ticket.
  • Provide change and issue receipts to customers with precision.
  • Answer phone calls, directing customers to the appropriate departments and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Address customer complaints with professionalism and refer them to the right personnel for resolution.
  • Operate the switchboard telephone system effectively.
  • Communicate with callers in a friendly and efficient manner, aiming to reduce wait times.
  • Assist management with various clerical tasks as required.
  • Maintain a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Familiarize yourself with departmental structures and internal procedures to assist customers effectively.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to articulate customer needs and requests to management and sales teams.
  • Professional appearance is essential.
  • Must possess a clean driving record.
