Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at RPh on the Go in Austin, TX. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in preparing medications, managing pharmacy operations, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare medications by accurately counting, pouring, mixing, and packaging pharmaceuticals.
- Verify insurance benefits and handle payment transactions at the Point of Service (POS).
- Maintain positive relationships with patients, case managers, and insurance companies.
- Coordinate prescription deliveries and manage routine reports and correspondence.
- Address and resolve problems proactively while adhering to company values.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or higher in a health-related field preferred.
- At least one year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
- Must be registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy and certified as a Pharmacy Technician.
- National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
- Proficiency in English is required; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Strong MS Office skills and experience with pharmacy software are preferred.
- Reliable transportation and a positive, flexible attitude are essential.
