Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in Medical Surgical care to join our team. As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical experience required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • NIHSS certification required.

Work Environment:

This is a contract position with a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 5x8 hours per day. The work location is on the road, with occasional travel to various healthcare facilities.
