Job Summary:The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional bar service in the Community cocktail lounge. This role requires a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Duties:- Takes orders, provides service, and requested items with a smile and courtesy.
- Clears all tableware from tables and bars after service.
- Cleans all glassware and dishes, including ashtrays, and distributes.
- Stocks, restocks, and rotates supplies.
- Prepares garnishes for bar use and snack trays.
- Maintains all documents necessary to accurately account for resident and guest charges.
- Assists supervisor with inventory of supplies.
- Follows opening and closing checklist.
- Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for residents and their guests.
- Maintains safe and sanitary conditions in work area.
- Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
- Completes all assigned cleaning tasks.
- Informs supervisor of equipment and supply needs.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:- Experience in making standard and craft cocktails.
- Basic knowledge of wine and wine service.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
- Experience bartending in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining experience preferred.
- Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor, and peers, requiring courtesy, tact, and graciousness.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Salary Range for this opportunity is $ per hour based on experience.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Light to moderate physical effort 90% of the time. Must be able to stand and walk 90% of the workday; ability to stoop, bend, and stretch frequently; must be able to lift to 50 pounds frequently. Must be able to see, hear, and speak.
