Fifth Third Bank is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Banking Associate. As a key member of our Financial Center team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, understand their financial needs, and provide personalized solutions to meet their goals.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our retail consumer and small business products and services, and effectively communicate their value proposition to customers.
  • Sales and Cross-Selling: Utilize consultative sales techniques to identify and meet customer needs, and consistently meet or exceed sales and cross-selling targets.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to achieve business objectives, share best practices, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Risk Management: Maintain a strong understanding of risk management principles and procedures, and take proactive steps to mitigate potential risks and exposures.
Requirements
  • Education: College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the financial industry, preferably in a retail banking or sales role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) is required.
