We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department.
About the Role
This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with three 12-hour shifts on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7pm-7am). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
- BLS certification required.
- Current certification or eligibility to become ACLS, TNCC/CALS, and Neonatal certified.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic ECG monitoring experience.
- Minimum of one-year experience in Medical/Surgical. Prior Critical Care and or Emergency Care experience preferred.
