UPMC Cole is seeking a full-time CRNA to support our Anesthesiology Department. This autonomous position offers the opportunity to perform spinals and regional blocks, working with friendly surgeons on a variety of cases, including ortho, podiatry, ENT, Endoscopy, and OB-GYN.

Responsibilities
The CRNA will administer anesthesia to patients rendering them insensitive to pain during surgery, monitor the patient's physical reaction to sedatives, analgesics, and anesthetic agents, and inform the anesthesiologist of any adverse condition that potentially threatens the safety or care of the patient. The CRNA will also assume responsibility and be accountable for controlled substances according to department and hospital policy and State and federal guidelines.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program required. Knowledgeable regarding controlled substance policies in accordance with Federal and State laws required.
