- Execute fiber splicing, testing, and troubleshooting on a variety of fiber optic networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Install, repair, and maintain OTE and OLT equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Utilize DWDM and CWDM technologies to enhance network capacity and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of fiber optic systems to promptly identify and resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with the project team to efficiently plan and execute fiber optic projects.
- Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to project progress and equipment status.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fiber splicing, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficient knowledge of OTE, OLT, DWDM, and CWDM technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic networks.
- Strong understanding of fiber optic network design and installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work in various locations and adapt to different work environments.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proven track record of adhering to safety standards and procedures.
- Relevant certification or training in fiber optic technology is a plus.
