Job Summary

RQC, LLC is seeking skilled Sheet Metal Ductwork Fabricators to join our self-perform team for ongoing work in Jacksonville, NC. As a Sheet Metal Ductwork Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling ductwork systems used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) applications.


This role requires skilled use of hand and power tools, as well as machinery to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components according to specifications and blueprints. You will work in a prefabrication warehouse and be paid the recommended Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to our Jacksonville, NC location.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble ductwork systems for HVAC applications
  • Use hand and power tools, as well as machinery to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components
  • Work in a prefabrication warehouse and follow safety protocols
  • Meet project deadlines and quality standards

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of experience with pre-fabrication/assembly activities
  • Completion of Sheet Metal Apprenticeship program or equivalent Sheet Metal experience
  • Two or more years of field or trade work experience in a commercial or facilities operations setting
