Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver Class A to join our team at Core-Mark. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to our customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally to ensure questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Safety and Compliance: Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards.
  • Logistics and Operations: Load and unload products from trailers, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and perform damage control checks on items.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • Experience: 6+ months Tractor/Trailer driving experience
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid CDL-A, 21+ years of age, and meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements
  • Physical Demands: Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
