Job Summary:

West Boca Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team on a per diem basis. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department
  • Supervise and direct assigned personnel in delivering patient care
  • Administer and perform specialized nursing care according to assigned unit and treatment
  • Review orders/test results and document care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum 24 months of Med/Surg experience and successful critical care experience
  • Current Florida RN License and BLS, ACLS, PALS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN degree
  • Minimum 2 years of licensed nursing practice in an Emergency Department
  • Adult and pediatric Emergency experience
