At BayMark Health Services, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dispensing Nurse to join our team at MedMark Treatment Center. As a Dispensing Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer daily medications to patients in accordance with program policies and medical protocols.
  • Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and maintain dispensing equipment.
  • Produce and maintain accurate records and reports as required by Company protocol, Federal, and State regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances as set forth in the Code of Federal regulations.
  • Order, receive, and stock medications in accordance with DEA and State regulations.
  • Provide daily assessments of patients.
  • Assist Nursing Supervisors to orient new nursing staff.
  • Other related duties as determined by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Current and good standing LPN/LVN license in the State of Maryland.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • EMR and computer proficiency desired.
  • Experience in chemical dependency preferred, self-motivated and directed, must have a positive attitude toward individuals in substance abuse treatment.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
