  • Project Leadership: Lead and collaborate with project teams to create and develop projects from concept through construction administration and FF&E installation.
  • Design Execution: Navigate the construction process and successfully execute the design.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and participate in industry events.
  • Creative Culture: Contribute to and positively influence the creative culture of the studio.
  • Client Communication: Lead and communicate with clients and their teams throughout the design and construction process.
  • Project Management: Manage resources and drive projects successfully through the design process.
  • Idea Generation: Conceptualize ideas for projects and communicate them clearly and strategically with clients.
  • Project Planning: Plan and strategize appropriate timelines, budgets, and schedules for the team and each project.
  • Design Development: Create, produce, and manage detailed design drawings using Revit or AutoCAD.
  • FF&E Selection: Select, specify, and design interior finishes as well as FF&E.
  • Presentation Skills: Participate in and lead meetings and presentations, and possess strong presentation skills.
  • Creativity and Passion: Apply creativity, enthusiasm, and passion to your work.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior designers and team members.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Travel: Travel locally during the business day, and some overnight travel for client meetings or site visits and FF&E installations.
Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 8 years of interior design experience.
  • Education: Hold a degree from an accredited Interior Design program.
  • Project Management: Experience leading multiple intermediate to large-sized projects at the same time.
  • Client Management: Experience managing complex client accounts.
  • Presentation Skills: Experience presenting to clients and/or the client's team.
  • Design Software: Proficiency in creating and reviewing drawing sets in Revit or AutoCAD.
  • Leadership: Ability to anticipate the next steps and orient the team to appropriate goals.
  • Communication: Possess excellent communication skills.
  • NCIDQ Certification: NCIDQ certification is strongly preferred.
