About the Job

The Certified Athletic Trainer at Hopedale Medical Complex is responsible for providing top-notch care to athletes, ensuring their health and well-being, and facilitating their recovery and rehabilitation after injuries or illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical coverage at athletic events, practices, and tournaments
  • Communicate with athletes, parents, coaches, and physicians regarding playing status and return-to-competition decisions
  • Assist with coach's clinics and outreach coverage to local high schools
  • Develop and implement patient treatment programs
  • Collaborate with the athletic training team to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • BOC certification and IL AT license or eligible
  • Approximately one to two years of experience in athletic training
Working Conditions

The Certified Athletic Trainer will work in a fast-paced athletic environment, requiring the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods, and communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and coaches.
