About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Optum in Covina, CA. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting routine check-ups, and managing chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary care to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric
- Conduct routine check-ups, health screenings, and diagnostic tests
- Manage chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Unrestricted California Physician License
- Current California DEA certificate
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Current BLS, ACLS certification
- EMR Proficient
- Excellent communication and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years post-residency experience
- Spanish speaking skills
