Job Title: Withdrawal Management Counselor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Withdrawal Management Counselor to join our team at Pyramid Healthcare Inc. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Evaluate client behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs to inform treatment decisions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Facilitate admissions, precertification, and linkage to community resources as needed.
  • Provide individual therapy, case management, and linkage to alternate services to support client recovery.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records in accordance with program policies.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related field (chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling) with a Master's level licensure (Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Professional Counseling) or certification by a state-wide certification board (CAADC).
  • One year of qualifying clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
