We are currently seeking a Gate Inspector to enhance our operations at our Mobile AL terminal.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Inspecting tanks during their entry and exit from the facility to document any defects or damages for accountability.
  • Verifying that the correct tanks are dispatched for transport, serving as a final quality assurance check before delivery to clients.
  • Performing thorough walk-around assessments of tanks prior to their departure to identify any potential issues.
  • Cross-referencing tank identification numbers on customer documentation with actual tank numbers to ensure accuracy in deliveries.
  • Acting as the concluding phase in the quality control process and undertaking additional tasks as required.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, enabling precise inspections to identify defects and damages.
  • Experience within the trucking or intermodal transportation sectors.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (preferably G-Suite).
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
