Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to enhance our surgical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direct supervision of the Nursing Director, assisting in surgical procedures while demonstrating proficiency as a vital member of the surgical team.
  • Prepare and manage surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment, ensuring readiness for procedures. Uphold the objectives and standards of the surgical facility.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Experience in various specialties, including Orthopedics, ENT, General Surgery, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Urology.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification required.

Experience Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited surgical technician program or a minimum of two years of surgical technician experience.
  • Strong understanding of surgical procedures and patient management.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and their application.
  • Ability to adapt swiftly to changing patient conditions.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills with staff, patients, and physicians.
