Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate care and support to patients under the supervision of physicians and mid-level providers. You will play a vital role in the planning and delivery of patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities:


- Assess and respond to patient needs effectively, ensuring efficient patient flow and adequate time for care and education.

- Delegate responsibilities to other healthcare team members as permitted by your licensure.

- Welcome and prepare patients for their appointments, assisting with mobility as needed.

- Collect and document vital signs and relevant patient information, including medical history and current medications.

- Anticipate the needs of both patients and practitioners during examinations.

- Administer prescribed medications through various routes, including oral and intravenous, as directed by the healthcare provider.


- Under the guidance of the practitioner, communicate lab results to patients, manage prescription requests, and ensure follow-up care is understood.

- Provide general health education within your expertise and as directed by the supervising nurse.


- Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring that medical instruments are sterilized and equipment is in proper working order.

- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures in accordance with established protocols and your training. Ensure patient comfort and privacy during examinations; instruct patients on sample collection and other tests.


- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team meetings and committees as needed.

- Triage and address patient inquiries via telephone, ensuring thorough documentation of all communications.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program recognized by the state nursing board; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

- A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting or two years in acute care is preferred.

- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice is required.

- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.

- Ongoing competency in resuscitation techniques is required post-hire, as per organizational standards.
