Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Worker to join our team at Nesco Resource. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for assembling and testing a variety of complex products to meet customer quality and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test products using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, and test equipment.
  • Review job requirements and components to ensure all necessary materials are available.
  • Count and size tubes for chemical cleaning and buff, haze, or remove discoloration as required.
  • Inspect and measure assemblies to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Apply epoxy tape and install inserts and rivets to brackets.
  • Identify and rework non-conformances disclosed by test data.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, and quality directives.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies that conform to product specifications.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and two or more years of industry-related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate product and process knowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques.
  • Able to select appropriate procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations and demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills.
  • Possess strong mechanical reasoning and effective interpersonal communication skills.
