We are in search of a proficient Python Software Engineer with substantial expertise in AWS technologies and API construction to enhance our dynamic workforce. The successful applicant will possess a robust foundation in crafting, developing, and launching applications utilizing Python and AWS, emphasizing the creation of resilient and scalable APIs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and sustain Python applications and APIs.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to outline, design, and implement new functionalities.
  • Leverage AWS services (including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.) for application development and deployment.
  • Guarantee the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
  • Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.
  • Create and uphold thorough documentation for APIs and application features.
  • Adopt security best practices in application development and deployment.
  • Engage in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Demonstrated experience as a Python Developer with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Extensive familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of database management (both SQL and NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
