Compensation Overview:
APP Salary Range: $121,000 - $188,514 USD per year.
Physician Salary Range: $205,000 - $328,965 USD per year.
Job Objective:
Enhance the health of the communities served by delivering primary healthcare services at CHAS clinics, adhering to the policies and regulations set forth by the CHAS Board of Directors and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care to a diverse patient demographic, including various genders, ages, and ethnic backgrounds, as well as insured and uninsured individuals.
- Conduct thorough physical assessments to evaluate patients' overall health status.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging to assess patient conditions.
- Analyze findings to formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic interventions, including physical therapy and vaccinations.
- Educate patients on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention strategies.
- Document findings and treatment plans in patients' electronic health records in accordance with established protocols.
- Report significant health events to appropriate authorities.
- Engage in collaborative meetings to enhance problem-solving and team dynamics.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, supporting the mission and core values of CHAS Health.
Education/Experience: Completion of a Master's level, accredited Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner program. Valid licensure in Washington State is mandatory. Must have narcotic prescription privileges. Board Certification or eligibility is required.
Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential. Must be able to achieve credentialing through relevant agencies (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid). A commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, equitable, and inclusive workplace is necessary. BLS (CPR/AED) certification is required. A valid driver's license and insurance are also required.
Physical Requirements:
Providers should be capable of moving throughout the facility for a significant portion of the day, as well as sitting at workstations or in patient areas. Frequent use of hands is required, while reaching with arms occurs less frequently. Effective communication is essential throughout the day, with minimal climbing, stooping, or crawling. The ability to lift up to 10 lbs is necessary, with occasional lifting of over 25 lbs.
