About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at TJX Companies, Inc. Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers, providing a highly satisfied customer experience.
  • Store Culture: Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Merchandise Management: Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures, maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards.
  • Store Recovery: Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed throughout the day, maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participates in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
  • Teamwork: Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback, adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, and supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Possesses excellent customer service skills, able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Possesses strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking and responding appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Physical Demands: Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
