Job Title: Manufacturing Project Engineer

Job Summary: Belcan is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our team in Columbus, GA. This is a direct, full-time position with benefits. The ideal candidate will have a BS Degree in engineering or equivalent experience and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop schedules, plans, and tracking spreadsheets to assess current conditions.
  • Use charts, graphs, and summarize data from spreadsheets to communicate status to the team.
  • Query customer applications to get current data and update spreadsheets.
  • Run meetings, assign action items, follow up, and status all open action items.
  • Participate in Integrated Team meetings.
  • Work to resolve manufacturing issues, or act as manufacturing liaison for engineering and quality teams.
  • Collaborate with customers and other team members, build consensus, and deliver results.
  • Manage competing priorities and anticipate recovery plans if not meeting due dates.

Requirements:

  • AS or BS Degree in a STEM related field and/or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience.
  • 0-3 years of manufacturing engineering experience. Internship experiences will be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills are required; outgoing and energetic individuals are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel.
  • Skills with NX, Teamcenter are desirable.
