Role Objective:

The primary responsibility is to address the accounting requirements of clients, which encompass: financial reporting, bank reconciliations, payroll integration, accounts payable, and various Quatrro services. This position acts as the brand representative of Quatrro, fostering, maintaining, and enhancing client relationships as the main point of contact and internal liaison. A clear vision for relationship development is established through a client relationship strategy aimed at helping clients meet their financial aspirations.

Key Responsibilities (Indicative but not exhaustive):

Client Management:

  1. Serve as the main point of contact for Not For Profit clients, delivering timely financial reports and providing guidance to business owners and operations managers to enhance profitability.
  2. Cultivate and sustain relationships by engaging with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring world-class customer service.
  3. Identify, engage, and deliver appropriate resources and solutions for all Quatrro services offered to clients.
  4. Collaborate closely with clients to resolve complex financial statement issues, monitoring finances to ensure compliance with guidelines while providing financial analysis and advice.
  5. Share best practices by leveraging various functions within Quatrro to assist clients in improving their operational execution. Coordinate with other internal teams for consultative support on services such as financial reporting, bank reconciliations, payroll, and accounts payable.
  6. Utilize established client relationships to obtain necessary documentation promptly, ensuring adherence to contractual delivery timelines for all services.
  7. Oversee all Quatrro activities for each client, from financial reporting to billing and collections.
  8. Implement negotiated contract terms and scope to ensure financial profitability for the existing client portfolio.
  9. Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to cross-functional teams involved in client delivery processes.
  10. Maintain a referenceable client base by delivering exceptional service in accordance with contract guidelines.
  11. Address client concerns and issues promptly to ensure satisfaction, escalating matters to management as necessary.
  12. Complete a monthly performance scorecard and meet with management to review and discuss follow-up actions for areas needing attention.
  13. Employ appropriate technology for communication, documentation, and follow-up with both internal and external stakeholders to fulfill all job responsibilities.
  14. Identify Same Account Revenue Growth (SARG) opportunities for each client, along with a strategic approach and detailed plan for selling additional services.
  15. Inform management of any client changes that may positively or negatively affect revenue.
  16. Build and maintain relationships by gaining insights into client businesses, positioning oneself as a trusted advisor to facilitate the sale of additional Quatrro products and services.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in special projects and committees within the team.
  2. Attend trade shows and travel to client sites as required by business needs.
  3. Collaborate closely with corporate industry staff at all levels to ensure program quality.
  4. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Duties:

  1. Manage the deliverables of the global team.

Financial Responsibilities:

  1. Refer to essential functions.

Public Interaction:

  1. Frequently represent Quatrro to various organizations within the industry and community, demonstrating courtesy, tact, and discretion in all interactions.
  2. Continually act as a representative of Quatrro to clients, displaying courtesy, tact, and discretion.
  3. Frequently negotiate contracts, respond to inquiries from accounting staff, and interact with corporate division staff.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Essential: A 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or business with a focus on accounting/finance (or equivalent knowledge/experience). Strong ability to manage priorities and functions, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficient data entry skills, and familiarity with personal computers, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel. A minimum of 2 years of specific industry experience and 4-7 years of accounting experience. Experience managing the month-end close process is required.

Preferred: A Master's Degree, CPA certification, experience with accounting software, and understanding of a computer network environment.

Desirable: Business acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with individual owners and ownership groups. Accounting experience within the Not For Profit sector is advantageous.
