Faculty Position in Abdominal Imaging

Duke Health is seeking qualified candidates for a position within our esteemed Abdominal Imaging division, recognized as one of the largest and most respected within our Radiology department. The Abdominal Imaging division is expanding and is committed to achieving excellence through innovation, research, and superior patient care. We are eager to welcome new faculty members who share our dedication to high-quality healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a comprehensive range of impactful services, including CT (with dual energy capabilities), MRI (covering prostate, liver, and rectal imaging), image-guided interventions, ultrasound, and GI fluoroscopy, all conducted within Duke Hospital to enhance collaboration across specialties.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams focusing on hepatobiliary, pancreatic, colorectal, and endocrine/thyroid conditions.
- Collaborate closely with oncologic, urologic, and general surgical teams.
- Hold a faculty appointment with the Duke School of Medicine at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level.
Qualifications:
- Board certification in radiology and fellowship training in abdominal imaging.
- A strong commitment to clinical service and the education of radiology residents and abdominal imaging fellows (52 residents and 8 fellows annually).
- Proven scholarly activity and a keen interest in academic medicine.
