Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • One year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in the emergency department.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or higher.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred: National Certification in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Nursing.
