Popeyes Cashier II

Job Summary: TravelCenters of America is seeking a skilled Cashier II to provide exceptional customer service to our guests. As a key member of the store team, you will be responsible for processing transactions, maintaining a clean and well-stocked food and beverage area, and assisting with receiving and stocking merchandise.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to our guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
• Process transactions efficiently and accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) register.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked food and beverage area, including restocking shelves and cleaning equipment.
• Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including unloading products and organizing displays.
• Train lower-level cashiers on job duties and responsibilities.
• Prioritize work according to store and management needs.
• Know and follow safety guidelines, reporting any potentially unsafe situations.
• Establish strong communication and rapport with leaders and coworkers.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of cashier experience preferred.
• Computer/POS knowledge required.
• Cash handling skills required.
• Merchandising/stocking experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
