Job Summary

As a key member of our team at BJ's Wholesale Club, you will be responsible for stocking, rotating, and storing general merchandise and/or food in our club. Your attention to detail will ensure that all merchandise is clearly labeled and fully stocked, creating a seamless shopping experience for our members.

Responsibilities

  • Stock and rotate general merchandise and/or food in the club, ensuring that all products are fully stocked and easily accessible to our members.
  • Maintain display signage for all products, creating labels and/or applying merchandise sales tags to items as needed.
  • Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the club is neat, clean, and organized, performing general housekeeping duties as needed, including removing trash and cardboard from the club.

Requirements

  • Previous grocery/stock experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Big box/wholesale retail experience is also preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Work Environment

  • Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces, with frequent bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.
  • Continuously requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting and moving of heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.
  • Usually works in a comfortable indoor environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment that may require shouting in order to be heard.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is starting from $15.50. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary, and actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
