Physical Therapy Assistant Opportunity

Aureus Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team for a 13-week assignment in an outpatient clinic in Alamogordo, NM. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work closely with our team to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our clinic.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient setting
  • Work collaboratively with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to achieve patient goals
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Current New Mexico PTA license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
