About the Job

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is seeking a highly skilled Supportive Visitation Specialist to join our team in Union City, NJ.

In this role, you will support parent-child visitation for families in their homes or communities, utilizing a trauma-informed approach to create safe and healthy environments.

You will also be responsible for completing and updating visitation plans, documenting visits, and facilitating parent debriefings before and after visits.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of child development and family dynamics
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly those involved with the welfare system and/or affected by trauma
  • Valid NJ Driver's License
Salary and Benefits
