Senior Underwriter

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Underwriter to join our Middle Market team at Arch Capital Group Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and growing a multi-coverage book of business, working closely with agents and brokers to provide exceptional service and support.

• Develop and grow a profitable book of business through effective risk assessment, premium determination, and policy negotiation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and brokers, providing exceptional service and support to drive business growth.
• Assess risks, determine premiums, and set conditions to ensure profitability and meet new business goals.
• Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share best practices.
• Document and compile comprehensive account reviews, state-compliant signoffs, and referrals.

• At least 4 years of experience in underwriting profitable Middle Market Multiline business.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with agents and brokers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and adaptable approach.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to crunch numbers and review data to determine risk selection and premiums.
