Hope Services is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide and oversee speech/language therapy treatments in a school setting to meet student IEP goals. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will assess communication skills and implement speech and language treatment based on established goals, in individual or group settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess communication skills and implement speech and language treatment based on established goals, in individual or group settings.
  • Serve, communicate, and consult as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Maintain detailed records and compile written progress reports and treatment plans as needed.
  • Evaluate need and type of augmentative communication devices and provide guidance and training to parents/guardians, teachers, and/or caretakers on the use of needed devices.
  • Participate in ongoing treatment meetings, as well as staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an approved school of hearing and speech-language pathology.
  • Illinois license in speech-language pathology.
  • Proficiency in the use of personal computers and software applications.
