Job Summary:

The Service Writer at Big O Tires Aurora is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by serving as a liaison between customers and technicians. This individual will accurately identify and document vehicle issues, provide estimates, and coordinate service appointments. The Service Writer will also handle customer inquiries, provide updates on service progress, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers and accurately identify their vehicle needs
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and document service issues
  • Provide accurate and transparent estimates for service repairs
  • Schedule service appointments and manage service appointments
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on service progress
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Maintain a clean and organized service desk area
  • Assist technicians with order placements and parts ordering
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and repair processes
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in computer and technology systems
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Benefits:
