We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for administering the nursing program and ensuring the highest standards of resident care.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer the nursing program to maintain standards of resident care
- Facilitate the optimization of the geriatric care process to improve quality and efficiency
- Oversee the overall quality of care provided by nursing personnel
- Advise medical staff, department heads, and administrators on nursing service and strategies
- Monitor operations and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Schedule staff and conduct employee performance reviews
- Provide nursing care to residents as needed
- Assist in marketing activities and programs
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required
- Five years of nursing experience required
- Thorough knowledge of nursing practice act and standards of care
- Working knowledge of administrative and management techniques
- Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
