We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business and Finance educator to join our team as a part-time Business Educator and Entrepreneurship Advisor at Spring Education Group. As a Business Educator, you will be responsible for teaching high school students the fundamentals of business and entrepreneurship, while also advising the school's DECA chapter.
Key Responsibilities- Teach an Introduction to Business course to high school students, preparing them for participation in the school's DECA chapter.
- Attend and participate in weekly DECA meetings, as well as local and national competitions, to support student success.
- Implement the CTE Curriculum by designing effective and creative lessons and assessments to display your passion for the subject and educate students at an internationally competitive level.
- Collaborate with other Business and Finance educators to form a community of professionals who are passionate about their work and committed to academic excellence.
- Guide student behavior to foster academic achievement, personal responsibility, and individuality in all students.
- A CTE credential or Single Subject Credential in Business and Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Services, or Hospitality and Tourism.
- Deep knowledge of and passion for the subject matter.
- Able to create a positive classroom community and build relationships with students.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Open to feedback and continuous growth.
- Creative in instructional and classroom management strategies.
- Cooperative, collaborative, supportive, and flexible.
- A strong work ethic and a 'do whatever it takes' mindset.
