Job Summary

Hormel is seeking a highly skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to transport poults between farms. This is a great opportunity for those looking for a stable, full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

As a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Loading and delivering poults from brooder farms to grower farms
• Pulling trailers and hauling heavy equipment
• Assisting with farm support tasks

You will work closely with our farming team to ensure safe and efficient transportation of poults.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with no restrictions
• A current DOT medical exam certificate
• At least one year of professional driving experience
• No more than 1 moving violation in the last 12 months or no more than 2 moving violations in the last 36 months
• No DWI offenses in the last 12 months or no more than 1 DWI offense in the last 36 months
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and follow biosecurity guidelines
• A willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends
